UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITION

COMPETITION RULES AND REGULATIONS

 

ELIGIBILITY

A.     Applicant must be female.

B.     Applicant must be currently enrolled in a construction-related degree program, and have at least one term (semester) remaining in a course of study leading to a degree or an associate degree in a construction-related field.

C.     Applicant must desire a career in a construction-related field.

D.     Applicant must be enrolled full-time; part-time students are not eligible for awards.

E.     Applicant must have a current cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher to be considered for awards.

REQUIREMENTS

Applicant is responsible for ensuring that all items below are submitted to NAWIC-Minneapolis-St. Paul Chapter #164 and postmarked by May 1^st, 2009. Please attach requested documentation in the order shown:

1.      Completed and signed Application Form.

2.      Official transcript of grades for most recent semesters or quarters.

3.      Extracurricular Activities listing.

4.      Employment History listing.

5.      Academic Advisor recommendation letter.

 

TRADESWOMEN SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITION

 ELIGIBILITY

A.     Applicant must be female.

B.     Applicant must be currently employed full-time in construction or enrolled full-time in a construction related apprenticeship training program.

C.     Applicant must desire a career in construction

D.    Applicant must be at least 18 years of age.

REQUIREMENTS

Applicant is responsible for ensuring that all items below are submitted to NAWIC Minneapolis-St. Paul Chapter #164 and postmarked by May 1^st, 2009. Please attach requested documentation in the order shown:

1.      Completed and signed Application Form.

2.      Official transcript of grades from high school or technical college or university or apprenticeship training program.

3.      Extracurricular Activities listing.

4.      Employment History listing.

5.      Advisor recommendation letter.
